Sundari Carmody is an Adelaide based artist who works closely with local ARIs. She spent her formative years in Indonesia before returning to Australia to attend art school. In 2011 she graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Art (Honours) at the South Australian School of Art. Recent exhibitions have been held at Greenaway Art Gallery (SA); SASA Gallery (SA); FELTspace (SA); Contemporary Art Centre of SA; Spectrum Project Space (WA); Pingyao International Photography Festival (China), and Mint: The Impossible Project (Hong Kong).
Sundari Carmody has volunteered and worked with numerous galleries and institutions throughout her studies including the Art Gallery of South Australia, SASA Gallery, Spectrum Project Space (WA), and was also part of the core Graduate exhibition committee at the South Australian School of Art. Carmody recently worked at Greenaway Art Gallery (2011/13) and FELTspace (2012/13). Sundari Carmody lives and works in Adelaide and is a founding co-director at Grid Projects.
